A pre-formed fibre glass profile constructed by combining polyester resins with fibre reinforcements & incorporating a photoluminescent resin grit surface. Two types of grit surfaces are available. These surfaces are charged by normal illumination e.g. daylight or fluorescent light and omit a glow as soon as the natural light source is interrupted i.e. power failure, smoke obstruction or similar, providing excellent stair safety in emergency situations. Also availiable in high visability yellow.
Designed specifically to fit over traditional steel ladder rungs, Grip-Hold enhances ladder safety by enlarging the surface area for foot contact and friction coefficiency with its integral grit surface. Constructed from durable chemical resistant fibreglass. Our ladder rungs measure either 25mm x 25mm x 25mm or 38mm x 38mm x 38mm and will fit over the majority of industrial ladder rungs. Grip-Hold can be cut to the required length and is bonded to the existing steel rung using a high quality polyurethane structural adhesive.
